(McKesson systems only, Auto-RX-MCK)

1)  How many drugs do you price? We will price up to the top 2100 drugs based on the 1st 2 numbers of their zip code

2) What sizes of brand drugs do you price? Price all package sizes of brand drugs

3) What about generics?  We price all mfg of a generic drugs.

4) How does the system create pricing tables? The system will create unique pricing tables for each drug based on the ranking of the drug in the market. The ranking is based on the drug of prescriptions for each drug

5) How do you base the Brand drug Pricing? Brand drug pricing is based on the AWP of the most used package size

6) How do you base the Generic drugs pricing? Generics are based on the most used mfg of the drug.  We override the AWP for generics so that all brands of the generics price the same.  This avoids pricing problems when the wholesaler sends a different brand of the generic drug.

7) How are updates done? Each month the system automatically contacts of web site to update the pricing.  This is an automatically process and requires no customer input.  Drugs are priced based of the competitive information we receive.  Items no longer in the top 2100 are removed from pricing schedules and new drugs are added by the pharmacy will be priced.

8) Will we have any control over the pricing? The pharmacy can price 18 different ways and can change the pricing any time dung the month with a click of the mouse.  Customer may further modify the pricing using Markup or Markdown in the drug record, Special Pricing or Premium Table pricing

9) How do you ensure our pricing will be competitive and maximize our 3RD party reimbursements? We edit the pricing on Brand and Or Brand and Generics to ensure that your pricing is above the median 3rd party pricing we have for the area.  We then use the 3rd party price plus 1%

10) What about competitive pricing for higher ranking drugs?  On higher ranking drugs when there is no cash pricing we will use the 3rd party pricing if the gross profit of the brand drug is greater than AWP -10% and generic drug AWP-50%.  If we use the 3rd party price it is multiplied by 101% to achieve the cash price.  If the drug is not ranked in the top 2100 it will use your default table.

11. We only do 20% cash business.  How can your system still benefit us?  We have customers with as little as 3% cash that have achieved gross profit increases of 3%.  If you have had your Pharmaserv System more than 1 year we will guarantee a gross increase or refund your original deposit.

12. Do you offer customer support?  We have great customer support (check out our referrals page).  We offer online resources, phone support and email our customers at least monthly regarding changes and alerts.
